The most frequent place where corrosion occurs are the joints, which provide suitable conditions for corrosion and its subsequent spread from the points of mechanical abrasion of fasteners such as bolts, screws, nails, clamps, etc. Treating these fasteners and welds by coating or recoating them with CREPEX®, or dipping them in this coating, will effectively protect them against corrosion for an unrivalled period of time and will provide excellent adhesion properties for topcoats, including powder coating and burning.
Even wooden constructions are not sufficiently protected. Wooden rot is most common in areas where metal fasteners such as nails, screws, etc. By treating them with CREPEX® coating, the lifetime of wooden buildings can be significantly extended and the rotting process can be prevented for the above reasons.
